How do you know if a Plant is Edible?
Well, There are so many plants, trees. Humans do eat many of them, but they don’t eat many of them too, many of them could have effects and nutrition that you cannot imagine.
How do you know if a Plant is Edible, without gambling with your life? It could be Poisonous. Like berries, there are hundred of berries. How do you know which once you can eat and which you cannot? As a rule of thumb, the White Berries are supposed to be Poisonous. Also Mushrooms, there are so many kinds of wild Mushrooms. But how do you know which are good to eat. Some Mushrooms can cause certain Liver failure in a few hours.
Well maybe the berries that Birds & Animals eat are not poisonous. But someone said that what Goats can digest, human couldn’t. Like Grass, Goats can eat it and live, but Humans?
Which animal has the closest metabolism of a Human? Someone said it’s a Pig. Are pig’s omnivorous?
So, how can you find out if a Plant or herb is edible. How does a Botanist classify Poison or Poissons

Human race as whole has learned everything by 1) by experience,experimentation AND 2) Passing the knowledge gained to the next generation.
If you want it to start all over again then there is nobody to stop you.
If you survive then tell others or the chapter ends there!
It is so simple.

In grade 8, we were taught that if we were out in a forest and there were berries or food, we should eat only a little bit of it and wait for a while. If you get bad symptoms, most likely it’s bad for you. But I wouldn’t do it. It’s dirty and too dangerous.
