are there any supplements you can take to speed up the metabolism?
herbs, vitamins, pills ?? anyone have good experiences with any of these or certain weight loss supplements?
100% with most of the answers above. Only physical activity along with natural products that boosts metabolism is the best key for losing weight. Here are some ways you can help revive and boost your metabolism.
- Make sure you eat breakfast.
If you don’t eat breakfast, you slow down your metabolism and send the body into "hoard mode," thinking it’s starving because you’re going a long period of time frequently 8 to 10 hours or more, without food.
- Eat the majority of your food earlier in the day.
- Don’t starve.
Dropping your calorie intake below 1,000 calories a day will signal to your body that you are in starvation mode, and will slow down your metabolism.
- Eat smaller meals more frequently.
- Get enough aerobic exercise
- Dink drink 8 8-ounce glasses of water every day. The energy burning process of metabolism needs water to work effectively.
- Get enough B vitamins
-Try a supplement for fatigue.
Co-enzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10, which supplies energy to muscles
L- Carnitine
NADH (Nicotinamide Adenine Finucleotide) which helps cells convert food into energy
SlimFast diet capsules
Green Tea extract
But I will suggest you to always check with your practitioner before starting any supplements or even diet loss programms. Good luck to you!

The key for losing weight is not difficult - eat less and exercise more - the issues arise when we in reality try to put that into practice! There are a lot of opportunities to fail in the real world aren’t there?! The only method which definitely worked for me was wu-yi tea, it can be checked out at http://www.wu-yiNow.com (see the resource box underneath) they have a limited number of free trials in stock, it was highlighted in Fox News and CNN. I melted away thrity pounds, it definitely does produce success!

Yes, there is this supplement called Guggul that boosts metabolism and helps burn fat. Also, you can use green tea extract and fish oil to help boost your metabolism and burn fat. I could only find Guggul online but both fish oil and green tea extract are easily located. GNC and Target definitely has them.

Green tea (4-6 cups a day)
but supplements that boost your metabolism can cause side affects AND they are only good and work when combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise. if you just have them by themselves everyday your not going to see a difference. they only HELP with weight loss, not create it.

In a nutshell, if it boosts your metabolism, it either barely works, or its dangerous.
Eat less, exercise more. Millions of people have had great experience with that.
